Narrative Research On Chinese Animated Films

Chinese animated films have been among the world's animation promenades and have become a shining pearl in the animation world.However,for various reasons,the development of Chinese animated films has not been satisfactory since the 1990 s.This article attempts to examine the narrative structure of narratives,plot design,audio-visual language,and character settings,and analyzes the narrative art of animated films in Mainland China,Hong Kong,and Taiwan,and appropriately matches the narrative art of the United States and Japan.Animated films are used for horizontal comparative studies to explore the narrative features and deficiencies of Chinese animated films.This thesis also makes a detailed analysis of the ageing narrative strategies revealed in the current Chinese animated films,hoping to do its own contribution to the creation and development of Chinese animated films.This dissertation is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is full of the full text,which explains the research background,purpose,significance,domestic and international research history and current situation,research methods and innovation.The second chapter reviews the history of the development of animation films in Mainland China,Hong Kong,and Taiwan,as well as masterpieces,which have enabled the richness and diversity of Chinese animated films as well as the regional integration of the animated movies in the three regions.The third chapter discusses the narrative structure of Chinese animated films.Mainly from the perspective of linear narrative and nonlinear narrative.For example the Chinese animation movie like“Tadpole's mummy”?“Fight with monkeys”?“Landscape love”?“Great Sage Equalling Heaven”;The Hong Kong-Hong animated film“McDull's and his mother”;Taiwan animated film“The Butterfly Lovers”.The fourth chapter studies the narrative strategies of Chinese animated films,and analyzes the narrative strategies of Chinese animated films from the aspects of plot design,audio-visual language and character setting.The fifth chapter analyzes the phenomenon of the increasingly full-age narrative of the current Chinese animation movie,and provides ideas and suggestions for the creation and development of the Chinese animation.
