With the development of science,technology and the internet,artistic media is rapidly changing.New technology,a forming source of new media,creates more possibilities for new media art.Interactive video art,a branch of new media art,has its unique characteristics of creation and experience.As an artistic form to interact and exchange information through the video and audio,interactive video art is created to express physical and mental exploration in a means of interaction.At the same time,the relationship between viewing and creation changes.Works of the interactive video,accepted passively by the audience,are no longer one-way information transmission.An essential change has taken place in the process of being created,which emphasizes the interaction and the sense of participation.The participants are the main body and artists' identities are also changed from creators to media platforms or contextual providers so that the audience become an important part of creation and participants will also contribute more actively to the completion of the works.The interaction of the works will also bring new aesthetic problems.Based on the development of new media art and ideological theory,this article will study the behavioral interventions in interactive image creation and explore more possibilities for re-transforming behavioral interventions into formal languages and creation methods.This article takes several works of Interactive videos from several artists as the case study,analyzes creation strategies,generalizes the internal logic of interactive behavior in the works.Lastly,complete personal work of artistic interaction "Artificial Succession" combining the new video media.
