| KMT is a party with a longest history in China, which have played an important role during the first half of the20th century. It has an important influence on the happening and the development of the democratic revolution. In order to do a research on modern and contemporary history, we must study KMT. The eighth conference of KMT is the second conference after it’s transformation and construction in Taiwan, which is also an important conference among the conferences of KMT.This article focuses on this conference, so as to gain a clear idea of that historical period and some important events, what’s more, we can also look into the history of KMT and the regulation of party’s development. Accordingly, seize the substance of KMT and the relations between KMT and CCP.This paper is divided into three parts:the first part mainly researches the background of this conference, in this way, we can explore the deep reasons of the policy’s transformation of this conference.The second part mainly makes a comment on the speak of people who attended the conference and the resolution of this conference. What’s more, exploring the process and the deep reason of the policy’s transformation can provide us a lot of helpful idea to evaluate the eighth conference of KMT. The analysis on this conference lay particular emphasis on the variation of this platform with previous ones.Via the content above and combining the situation after this conference, the last part mainly discuss the influence to the power of KMT and the relations across the Taiwan Strait and gives a valuation of this conference.All in all, the eighth conference of KMT was a very important conference after KMT retreat to Taiwan, which ended the peace talks between KMT and CCP. What’s more, it opened up the construction of Taiwan has a deep influence the relations between KMT and CCP and the relationship across Taiwan Straits. |
