Research On The Privacy Protection System Of Criminal Victims In The United States

As a legal concept, the contents of privacy become a serious harassment for legal theorists and practitioners. After protecting the privacy entering the practice, it has been given more attention. As the earliest country starting the protection of privacy, America has built a comprehensive legal system of privacy protection.In this process, America has gone through a tortuous way. In this system, due to the particularity and the practical operation of its subject's complexity, criminal victims don't get enough benefits. Although included in the existing legislation system about protection of privacy, criminal victims always suffer the intrusion of other subjects such as the rights of the accused in the trial, the right of free expression and other news media. How to build a better and practicable system to protect the privacy of criminal victims will be the topic. This paper attempts to study the American penal legal system of protection of the privacy for the criminal victims. By presenting the relevant U.S. system, I hope to provide a reference for the establishment of our own system of protecting the criminal victims' privacy. In this paper, the legal framework of the U.S. criminal victim privacy and judicature will be paid more attention.In the third part, it is a topic to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the current system. In the last part, it tries to make reference to China legislation to promote the protection of criminal victims.
