Researches of Mongolian legal history have a close relationship with Mongolian legal documents.Mongolian literary classics are unique in words,valuable in versions,various in contents,which have become a part of the excellent culture of the Chinese nation.This thesis's main object of research,Chahar Zheng Xiang Bai banner's Temple Rules of Cha Han Temple in Qing Dynasty,is a religious legal documents in Mongolian that has been protected completely among various Mongolian ancient temple literature.The documents are precious towards researches on disciplines of Lamaism,religious laws,Mongol nationality and temple systems of economic administrations among Inner Mongolia in Qing Dynasty;namely,it is a precious ethnography historical materials.Temple Rules of Cha Han Temple specializes in recording temple regulations and warehouse managements,which includes Mongolian society's economy,humanity,religious beliefs and other phenomenon of ChaHar Eight Banner in the 18th century.Based upon Mongolian primary data,combined with former researches and relating documentary sources,this thesis makes a preliminary study from textual interpretation,legal institutions and sources reflected by material,the value of historical documents these three aspects on Temple Rules of Cha Han Temple,mainly highlighting its characters of religious legal materials and making a more comprehensive and systematic investigation.
