Due to the increasing economic globalization,International Labor Standards have drawn great attention from many countries and international organizations. As the largest developing country,China is playing a more crucial role in the international arena. Thus, when participating in international affairs,China must see objectively enough about the current national situations, pay much attention to International Labor Standards, deal with domestic labor standards in an impartial pattern, and admit the disparity between labor standards in developed countries and those in ours.Additionally,China is supposed to raise domestic labor standards,so as to provide a better working condition and environment for labors. The debate between developed countries and developing ones – whether International Labor Standards should be linked up with international trade – has remained for a long period and is becoming more intense. Each side, speaking for the sake of its own interests, upholds its position without possible compromise.Judging from the future development perspective, however,it is inevitable for International Labor Standards to link up with global trade. Therefore, developing countries ought to catch up with the times by impartially handling their own issues and exchanging with developed countries. The best way to reach win-win situation is to help and communicate in a mutual pattern.China should rethink its own labor standards as well and,if necessary, learn from foreign experience and expertise to level up domestic labor standards. |
