Honesty Education In The Perspective Of Socialist Core Values

Honesty,has been developing and accumulating in the long history of China.It is not only one of the sense of value advocated by the Chinese excellent traditional culture,but also an important part of the social core values.In the report of the 18 th National Congress of the CPC(Communist Party of China),honesty has been listed as a significant content of the “Core Socialist Values”.The honesty is the moral foundation of our “Core Socialist Values” development,which can also be regarded as the core values reflected by the individual behavior.At present,our social development has been in a stage of transition and various contradictions highlight.The Morals of society has been challenged by the conflict of interest and the collision of multiplex culture.The thought and value of general public has been deeply influenced by social relationships and social developing environment,which has resulted in a dilemma of lacking for morals and honesty.In the society,the deficiency of honesty in the government administration,business affairs and justice has been growing.In addition,the severe weakening of individual sense of honesty has been obvious.The progress of honesty education work has a great influence on the internalized identity of honesty value and its externalized promotion.Consequently,in the field of the “Core Socialist Values”,we should grasp the relations,the major content and the principle of honesty education.We should analyze the dilemma of honesty education deeply and try our best to explore the effective method of it continually.All of these efforts can have a profound significance on the cultivation of the “Core Socialist Values” and the construction of credible China.The introduction of the paper has a brief summary on the background and main concepts of the “Core Socialist Values” and honesty education and significance of this subject as well as the method of study.The main body of paper consists of three major parts.The first part elaborates the relations between them and the important principle of promoting honesty education.This part establishes the theoretical foundation of paper.The second part studies the dilemma of honesty education.Based the objective law of honesty education and the important principle of promoting it,the paper has analyzed the dilemma of honesty education scientifically and systematically.This part is the core of the whole paper.The third part has explored the effective ways of promoting honesty education,which are expected to help us out of the current dilemma.It has a realistic significance on the honesty education and also is the footing of the paper.
