Ren Bishi's Research On Youth Work Thoughts

Localization of Marxism in China is a distinctive theme throughout the struggling history of the Communist Party of China.It is the great and glorious career that pursued with so much effort lifelong by Chinese communist.As an activist in Chinese revolution and theoretician of Marxism,Ren Bishi initiated the process of exploring Localization of Marxism in China at the early time.In the 1920s,Ren Bishi spent three years studying in the Soviet Union where he was deeply affected by Lenin.After he returned to China,he worked on youth issues for more than three years.Therefore,it can be said that Ren Bishi began to explore the relationship between scientific theory and the facts of China's revolution in his concrete practices about youth work initially.After that procedure stated above,by constantly paying very close attention to and dedicating to youth work,Ren Bishi foemed the Youth Work with Chinese characteristics.Hence,in order to study into how Ren Bishi interacted with Localization of Marxism in China at early stage,it is a significant way to study his Youth Work Theory.The whole thesis includes introduction,main body,summary and so on,The main body consists of three parts.The first part mainly discusses the prime factors that influenced the formation of Ren Bishi's thoughts on youth work.On one hand,Huxiang culture,democratism and the educational experience of his teenager life functioned as a resultant force which laid the cultural foundation of Ren Bishi's youth work thought.On the other hand,Ren Bishi's life course of systematically theory-studying during his three years' stay in Soviet Union and his rich experience of youth-related work in his revolutionary career constituted the theoretical and practical foundation of his youth work thought respectively.The following part pays close attention to Ren Bishi's view of youth and the theory of youth work.This parts includes four sub-parts.First,from the reflection on the relationship between theory and practice,he put forward the thoughts of youth work methods which operated against the "mystery and hollow theory";Second,he illustrated the nature and mission of Group of the Communist Youth League(GCYL),and he launched the correction process of the errors of GCYL,the deviations of youth work as well as the combat against the other political forces and so on.From the facts above,he emphasized the leadership of the party as the "important determinants".Third,from the time of opposing against the establishment of the "National Youth League for Mass Revolution" to the reconstruction of the Youth League,he made it clear that the youth organizations,especially the Youth League,should be organized in accordance with the principle of the combination of progressiveness and mass character.Fourth,he concerned the formulation of the principles as well as conducted deep theoretical research on how to apply the strategies such as democratic united front and developing forces to youth movement.In addition,Ren Bishi thought highly of Lenin's theory and participated in the youth work as soon as he returned to China.These facts equipped him with a stable view of youth labeled as Marxism.His ideas of youth work characterized by localization of Marxism had some reflections which was mainly embodied in his cautious attitudes towards Moscow's proposals,persuading Chen Duxiu three times,thoughts on the spirit of Bolshvik theory and his concern on "arts of riots" etc..The third part focuses on the realistic enlightenment of Ren Bishi thought on youth work.Above all,deducting from the facts that Ren Bishi promoted the exploration into localization of Marx's theory of youth work and the requirements for youth work at present stage,it can be seen that the theoretical innovation has become urgent demands of contemporary youth work.Next,under new historical conditions,we must continue to maintain the advancement and the mass character of Youth League.Reform has already become the basic countermeasure.Thirdly,judging from the historical experiences,whether the youth work succeed or not depends on whether we can deal with the three groups of relationship ideally.These relations contain the one between the party and the Youth League,the one between the Youth League and the external youth organizations,the one between youth organizations and the young mass.
