It is always difficult to draw a clear line between sharing and plagiarism with the exponential increased number in the dissemination of WeChat publications.The copyright issues which WeChat involved have also become increasingly prominent.As a new form of copyright expression,WeChat copyright has also been given a number of new features while taking into account the characteristics of traditional copyright,which has triggered a series of new copyright infringement disputes.In recent years,many“WeChat-users” have complained that their original works have been frequently copied and forwarded in the WeChat Moments and WeChat Official Accounts.At the same time,the interests and motives involved in this type of infringement under different WeChat communication modes are also diverse,resulting in WeChat copyright owners being trapped in difficulties in expressing rights claims.Therefore,the infringement of Weixin's copyright is particularly urgent.This article firstly introduces the history of WeChat,analyzes the characteristics of WeChat content dissemination in different sub-environments,and then specifically analyzes that whether the content of network information transmitted in WeChat could constitute publications in the sense of traditional copyright protection,thus clarifying the difference between the Wechat copyright and the traditional copyright to maintain whether it's truly in the need of legal protection.Afterwards,the paper focuses on the analysis of the specific manifestations of the copyright infringement in different subjects and their liability assumptions which based on the communication characteristics of WeChat works in different sub-environments,.Finally,this paper also tries to discuss the ways of the WeChat copyright owner's private remedy under various infringement cases,and the government's suggestions for public remedies at the legislative and judicial levels as an external supervisor,and tries to construct an effective WeChat copyright infringement remedy.This paper tries to avoid copyrightinfringement and also provide with a safe and healthy communication environment for WeChat's publications?...
