People's assessor system is an important part of judicial reform.After 2015,50 courts in 10 provinces,cities and districts in our country have implemented the system of people's assessors as a pilot program to reform the system.This allows us to refocus this system of law.In the decades that the system of people's juror in our country has developed,it has experienced glory and also entered the trough.The drawbacks and shortcomings of the people's jury system are also exposed.As a way for the people to participate in the administration of state affairs and judicial adjudication,there is a growing lack of democratic universality and the tendency to professionalism,which is contrary to the original intention of the original system.Jurors gradually Became a vassal without trial.Based on the value and defects of the people's jury system,the author proposes to broaden the scope of the people's jury members' selection,reform the method of selecting people's jurors,implement random sampling,separate the "legal trial" from "factual trial" Improve the structure of the collegiate bench and other recommendations.
