Chinese state-run sports system is a special kind of sports system during a specific historical period. In the past few decades, it has made great contributions to China's sports, but with the development and the transformation of social economy, as well as the professional development of competitive sports, its disadvantages also gradually emerged. After the completion of the 2008 “Olympic Program”, to reform and perfect the sports system, and to build more sports systems that conform to the market rules and social development has become the consensus of the people, and also the most important task of Chinese competitive sports during the post-Olympic era.Tennis is a kind of professional, commercialized and individualized sports, and its unique charm has attracted more and more attention. Nowadays, Chinese tennis players, especially the women tennis players have made a breakthrough in Olympic Games and each big events and created one after another brilliant achievements. These ‘solo' athlete's success is the success of Chinese competitive sports and means that a huge development for China's sports professionalization reform. It has a far-reaching influence on the development of competitive sports in China and has a lot of sports scientific research value. However, the pure professionalization is not completely suitable for sports in our country national conditions. Through the study, we found that Lina's mode is not a simple ‘solo', but a kind of new, accords with the situation of our country, with ‘Chinese characteristics' mode-- the stage-run system first then professional development. In this paper, we choose the most representative professional tennis player Lina as example, by studying her athletes training model to explore our country in the background of professional to build the ‘Chinese characteristics' training mode. In this paper, the writer used the measure of literature, case studies, expert investigation method and logical analysis to research and analyze Lina's successful training model and the influence on our tennis development even the other athletic sports and the national sports system. In this paper, the logical structure is mainly divided into three parts:The first part: this paper first describes the background and significance of this study, at the same time, it combines with the research status and achievements at home and abroad, analyzes the significance and necessity of constructing a new tennis player training model with the ‘Chinese characteristics'.The second part: Its mainly investigates from the four aspects: Firstly, the current domestic and international athlete's training model. Secondly, analyze Lina's development and training model. Thirdly, summarizes the characteristics of Lina's training model. Fourthly, proposed the training model with ‘Chinese characteristics'.The third part: Conclusions and recommendations. The main conclusions of this paper : 1. The athlete's training should be based on the national system, going through the Chinese state-run sports system to different branches and establishing an athlete training model with “Chinese characteristics”. 2. At present, the investment system of Chinese tennis players has a series of problems. The purposes of the State, enterprises and individuals are very different, and the investment structure is not balanced. We must build a new investment system and management to maintain the advantages of the Chinese state-run sports system, so as to make this system a powerful backup force for the athletes to achieve win-win development of professional tennis and Olympic Glorious achievement.3. The fact that tennis players make success because of the ‘solo' does not means that the achievement can only be achieved through the ‘solo', but instead, it's just an opportunity for success, and cannot be separated with the Chinese state-run sports system. Therefore, it is not scientific and sound to see the ‘solo' and ignore the power of the Chinese state-run sports system.
