Based On The Perspective Of WSR, The Status Quo And Development Of Hakka Sports Tourism In Luodai, Chengdu

Located in Longquanyi district, an eastern outskirt of Chengdu city,Sichuan province, Luodai Ancient Town is known as “the first town of Hakka clan in western China”, where the Hakka people constitutes 85% of the total population, and the Hakka folk culture, living habits, language and architectural style are well-preserved.This paper take “Hakka sports tourism in Luodai Ancient Town”as a case study to review and analyze the status quo of development of sports tourism resource and Hakka culture in Luodai Ancient Town on the basis of “WSR system methodology”, combined with documentary study, field research and questionnaire method. And some conclusion are reached as follow:Luodai Ancient Town has a rich variety of folk sport activity, in which the Liu's dragon, Water Dragon Festival and lantern dance projects are most well-known. To some extent, Hakka sports culture of Luodai Ancient Town has facilitated local economy. But the development of Hakka sports activity was restricted for the reasons like the aging and relatively low cultural levels of participants.On the other hand, the single and backward method of Hakka culture inheritance has obstructed the future development of Hakka sports. And there are multiple internal influences impede the improvement of Hakka sports in Luodai Ancient Town. Factors including inheritors and living environment are important in deciding the development level and development path of Luodai Hakka sports.This paper suggests reinforcing collaborations between districts and learning from each other to make progress together, cultivating professional talents for developing and planning, improving the traffic between Luodai and central block of Longquanyi for a better service quality and increased degree of customer satisfaction.As for the Hakka sports tourism resource, the developers should be guided to put customer needs and satisfaction in the first place, and stick to the way of green, low carbon and humanity.Based on the WSR system methodology, this paper proposed a new developing mode suited for Luodai Hakka sports tourism, reanalyzed and redefined the connotation and provided reference for researchers committed to traditional Chinese sports tourism culture.
