| Inspired by Lowenfeld’s theory of "art education therapy",this study explores the effects of art education therapy on emotionally disturbed children through the art education therapy activities for an emotionally disturbed child who is only 4 years old.The researcher selects suitable case by means of a series of ways, such as the relevant personnel provide clues, field observation, "PreBERS" is used to assessment the case,interview parents. Before the implementation of the research, the researcher used such means as observation, interview, evaluation to ensure a full understanding of the current living situation and the growing-up background of the case subject. And the researcher designs an integral plan of art education therapy against the requirements of the case.With the collaboration of the researcher, parents and teacher, a total of 15 art education therapy activities have been implemented. In the process of the activities, a free,friendly and supportive environment had been created by the joint efforts of the researcher, parents and teacher. In the implementation process of art education therapy activities, the means of "PreBERS", video recording and recording were carried out on observation and record of the case. At the same time, in a timely manner after the end of each activity for reflection, analyze, informal interviews, then according to the actual situation to adjust the activity scheme flexibility. At the end of the activities the researcher continuous observes the case within one month, in order to maintain to track the efficacy of treatment. By the end of the study, a conclusion of the effects of art education therapy on the emotions and behaviors of the case subject is made according to the before and after results of the "PreBERS" test, the performances of the case in activities and the interviews of parents and teacher.The results showed that before and after the art education therapy activities,emotional response of the case has developed form drastic action to image representation with associative ability; Social interaction of the Case has developed from a passive response to active expression; Attention of the Case has developed form inattention and attentive disorders of OCD to improved attention and attentive disorders of OCD; Self-consciousness of the Case has developed form external cognitive to experience of the intrinsic emotion.The study found that: first, the fine arts creation is the channel by which children explore themselves and emotional expression; Second,under the perspective of ecology of art education therapy can improve the current situation of emotionally disturbed children; Third, the specific art education therapy activities is the opportunity of emotionally disturbed children to accept themselves . |
