Xiangxi area is a multi-ethnic populated areas,is also an economic less developed areas.A minority within the region already has a rapid development of the economic reality of the pressing needs,is also faced with rapid economic development and national language culture the demise of the realistic contradiction.Therefore,developingminority bilingual education,has become an important means to resolve this contradiction and guarantee.Therefore must be comprehensive and detailed investigation of the present situation of the ethnic minority bilingual education in this region,actively explore bilingual teaching reform methods,the research on the rules of minority bilingual acquisition,enrich bilingual textbooks,Build Wuling mountain area for minority bilingual education cooperation mechanism,so as to develop minority bilingual education,protect the national language and culture.This study was based on toJishou,Huayuan,Fenghuang,Aizhai,Longshan,Baojing,Yongshun,Guzhang,seven city and a county in the present situation of bilingual education in ethnic minority detailed investigation,find out the existing problems and put forward the targeted countermeasures,in order to promote the region's ethnic minority bilingual education,to better protect the local ethnic language and culture.First of all,using literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method to Xiangxi region investigation on the current situation of bilingual education in ethnic minority,and has carried on the system analysis to the survey data by SPSS.Combined with the result of data analysis and observation,interview,research conclusions are as follows:Teachers,Xiangxi area lack of qualified for the teachers of bilingual teaching.In addition,bilingual teachers ability is weak,such problems as single classroom teaching method is more obvious.Bilingual teaching materials,teaching content boring,students' learning interest is not strong.Students,many students feel current bilingual learning is very difficult,to study the effect not beautiful.The students lack of diversified bilingual learning activities,learning focused on small classroom environment,the lack of learning environment.Students learning objects are still largely focused on book knowledge,lack of practice.Money,schools for bilingual education activity funds are very nervous,can't give the school provide favorable support to carry out national culture propaganda activities.In addition,giving bilingual teachers wage subsidies are very few,lack of bilingual education school material resources,such as: ethnic costumes,ethnic Musical Instruments,etc.Secondly,through the questionnaire of the students,analysis of the language attitude and language ability of students,grade and gender variables,variables,and language ability and language attitude of variance analysis.Learned the miao nationality children questioned and the tujia nationality children questioned difference of native language attitude and language ability.Again,to find many problems put forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions,hoping to promote the development of Xiangxi area minority bilingual education better provide reference.Finally,the paper expounds the bilingual education of ethnic language and culture to save the important role of combining Hunan minority basic situation about the main means to protect minority language culture,focuses on how to better development of Xiangxi area of bilingual education to protect the region's ethnic language and culture.
