Cricket,skill dominated antagonistic group with rotation attack,is a hitting-scored sports which has distinct technical characteristics and a variety of techniques.Hitting skills determined by rapid and accurate judge,that play a decisive role in the results of game.In consequence,the way of getting visual information is important to batsman.In the field of sports psychology,the ways of getting visual information mirror the difference of athletic ability between high-level athletes and average-level athletes.It is helpful for junior batsman to get a strategy training more effective,when we record eye patterns of different batsman during competition or exercises.The objective of this study is explore the change of batsman's eye patterns during hitting,which used the eye movement technique in sports psychology.The participants are China's woman's national cricket team and Shenyang sport university team,which has 20 people separated into two groups,10 experts and 10 newcomers.German's SIM I View X RED 3.5 telemetering eye tracker used by the study to recording the eye patterns of two groups,exploring the accuracy of estimating bowling path by cricket batsman's,as well as the relationship between eye patterns,anticipation accuracy and visual search,in order to provide some theory to improving predictive ability of batsman.The results show:(1)There is a distinct difference between two groups,as experts spending more time in bowler's hand,body,ball and head than newcomers.According to the relevant research of fixation time and predictive accuracy,the bowler's hand,body and head are highly related to the latter.(2)Based on screenshot of Heat map,I analyze 3 time nodes,including take-off,ball-releasing moment and after-releasing.From that,bowler's arm,ball and head are experts' gazing regions.As a result,experts pay more attention to eyeing the parts which related to bowling.On the contrary,newcomers' gazing regions are external,which has huge eyeball skipping without any stable visual pattern.(3)Based on screenshot of Gaze replay,I analyze 3 bowling creased,including positive pile,middle pile and side pile.As a result,experts' fixation path is more concise within about 4 gazing times.On the contrary,newcomer's fixation path shows very disordered.(4)In the correlation analysis of two participant group by testing gazing time and predictive accuracy,the order of positive correlation which caused highly predictive accuracy is batsman's 3 parts,hand,body,head.The order of negative correlation which caused lowly predictive accuracy is external.
