Ed.D.is a Professional Education in short,it is different with the Ph.D.(Doctor of Philosophy).its purpose is to train the more professional practice talents Education field.,After Ed.D.As the new degree appeared at the 21st century,its scale is constantly expanding.Every country for training of Ed.D.degree is becoming more and more attention.And to cultivate the Ed.D.,the curriculum setting about the Ed.D.Influence to the quality of the higher education,in turn,affects the whole world,the quality of top talents,can even affect the overall development situation of a country.Therefore,the study of Ed.D.'s curriculum has very important significance.For the reason that the United States is one of the earliest countries and the most development countries in the world,and it's Ed.D education also gradually to mature,the curriculum system construction and setting also has relatively perfect,this paper take it for the example.For study American education curriculum in Ed.D.,sorting out all the information about,it's not only to our country but also in the rest of the world countries'education Ed.D.program settings has important reference value.Through the literature method,comparison method,case analysis and other basis methods in research,originated from the Harvard University which is the earliest university in the United States to cultivate Ed.D.,and carried out nationwide the fastest and healthiest development after the reform of the university of southern California for example to make in-depth research,For both school education and education for a comprehensive integrated curriculum.From the Ed.D.Education arise background,to Ph.D.'s Education development and reform led to the Ed.D.Education,it is concluded that the emergence of new education,since there is no development experience in developing and has too much similar to Ph.D.Education places which have to reform the conclusion.Therefore in their school's Ed.D.Program the Harvard University and the university of southern California appeared a new professional doctorate degree education-Doctor of Education Leadership,Ed.L.D.Article second chapter and the third chapter focuses on education in Harvard University and the university of southern California in the different periods of development,as well as the main content of the curriculum in the process of development,analyzes the features of the course content,and the curriculum content and structure of the two are compared,get a conclusion that in order to adapt to social development American Ed.D.education curriculum constantly adjust and reform,constantly do more contribution to society,for the whole country.Article selected topic Ed.D.Education courses in the United States to study,is based on the summary and browse many related literature,after summarized the relatively article,the author noticed the article which concrete into Ed.D.'s curriculum is quite limited,but the curriculum for education achievement is extremely important.Therefore,at the same time to summary and discussion on the education curriculum,the author hope to these summarized and organized data has the certain enlightenment and reference of our Ed.D.education in the process of the curriculum.All the progress is based on complement each other,only in learning and absorbing foreign correct rich experience at the same time,combined with China's specific national conditions and the status,in order to better development of China's higher education to cultivate the social practice talent.
