Research On The Political Identity Of Minority College Students

Political recognition integrates the feature of political psychology and political practice,it refers to the political practice that takes the social members as the political subject,agreeing,recognizing,and accepting the current political system,and taking part in the political system controlled by specific political value and interests.In the process of accelerating social transforming,the political recognition of minority ethnic group shave already become the foundation of unity and development of ethnic groups,formulation of the national policy,and social stability and security in the long run.The college students in Uygur are part of the elite of the region,their political recognition bears important significance for the stability and prosperity of the ethnic groups and strengthening of the cohesion of the Chinese nation.There search of the thesis takes questionnaire and dialogue as the research methodologies,and the college students in Shanxi Normal University investigate the political recognition,recognition with the political community,and national policies.Based on empirical investigation,the author analyzes the data and concludes that the Reisa high degree of overall recognition with the political community.But the group also suffer from decreased self-recognition,lack of depth in the cognition of core values,relatively low recognition with the political system and the far-from-ideal recognition with the national policies.The factors influencing the political recognition of the college students in Uygur are divided in to subjective and objective factors.Subjective factors include the weak political theoretical knowledge of the collage students in Uygur,the pressure of job-seeking,and the confusion brought about by the bias of the society,while objective factors take globalization,online environment and the stagnancy in the social transformation,the decrease in the policy effect and the efficiency of the grass roots government.On this basis,in order to improve the political identity of Uygur students,some strategies and suggestions have been proposed from the perspectives of strengthening the national political construction,strengthening the socialist core values,integrating all social forces and respecting the ethnic identity,etc.
