With the continuous development of English vocabulary teaching in primary school,how to effectively teaching vocabulary is more and more become the focus of attention of English teachers a lot of first-line teachers constantly explore effective method of learning.Among them,in the context of teaching vocabulary can change boring vocabulary learning situation,stimulate students interest in learning.Based on the above background,this paper will be based on the context theory,expand vocabulary context teaching method of action research.This paper adopted the method of questionnaire,interview method for primary school students use of English words,memorize English words,the teacher teaching way has carried on the investigation,the author based on the results of the survey to determine the action research to solve the main problems and develop a plan of action.This study was based on the classification of context,respectively from the speech context,vocabulary context,situational context and cultural context of the vocabulary teaching in four aspects,the author design a variety of activities in vocabulary practice,improve students ability to use words.Teachers can learn by reading student journal,interviews and other way to find the problems in the process of study,and in the process of a new round of action research.Research has shown that context teaching method can improve the students' interest in learning vocabulary,change the boring learning vocabulary,form a single status.In addition,through the study of context teaching to help students improve the English vocabulary.Context vocabulary teaching to help students learn vocabulary by means of the theory of context,arouse the enthusiasm of the students' learning,at the same time,improve the students' vocabulary learning strategies,cultivate good habits of study,for students' lifelong learning laid a good foundation.
