As science and technology play an increasingly significant role in modern warfare,the importance of infrared arlarm defence system cannot be ignored.Therefore,the distributed infrared alarm system has been proposed in this paper to achieve the detection for aircraft,missiles and other target in full field of view.At first,the efficience of large-field infrared detector is analysed by the imaging results,which is of indispensable significance in the alarm system,especially the operating distance of the detector.With the simulation results,the detector is validated to achieve the detecting purpose.Apart from that,the inertial sensors on infrared detectors are used to analyse the detectors’ field-of-views and accomplish the field-matching onboard,which has improved the real-time processing capability.And the simulating data has illustrated the effectiveness of this method.In other words,it is convenient for the following detection step with the above method of field-matching technology.Aiming at eliminating the influence of moving clouds in target detection in sky,the classfying algorithm is proposed,which means that targets are classfied into two groups as in the clouds or not.Then different detection methods are used in the detection for two kinds of targets.In this way,the complexity of alarm system is rationally reduced.The algorithm for detection of small IR targets has been optimized by using adaptive threshold methods and controling the CFAR(Constant False Alarm Rate).Compared with other methods for small IR target detection in simulations experiments,the method proposed above is much better in FAR.Afer the detection,the false targets can be eliminated in data association part by compare the target moving routes.Thus the FAR is further reduced at the same time.Finally,the distrubted infrared alarm system is completed.According to the data collocted from the system,the hardwares of distrubted alarm system proposed in this paper consists of FPGA+DSP to meet the requirements of the project.In other words,the system has good precision and stable performance in alarm detection.
