In 2017,the country issued intensive documents leading and encouraging the development of national television cultural variety programs.But as early as 2011,there is a popular folk culture program in Daqing TV Station named “Daqing Sandayi” in Northeast China.Through the study of its seven years’ development,it is helpful to put forward the management strategy for the common problems of the city TV cultural variety programs in Northeast China.According to the audience and current situations,it is concluded that the root cause of the problems affecting the development of this type of programs is the problem of institutional management with a comparison of the development status of the "Sandayi" programs in 11 other TV Stations in the three Eastern provinces.At the same time,combining with the problems of system management,program management,marketing and government policy,and drawing lessons from the successful experience of well-known cultural variety programs in China,it concludes the management strategy that is beneficial to the development of cultural variety shows in Northeast China from the aspects of program quality,audience,orientation,advertising mode and cooperation with new media.The most important problem to solve is to introduce marketing talent cultivation to the cultural variety show.Second it is necessary to encourage to take advantages of the Northeast for the northeast city TV’s cultural variety programs and to intervene in the network set-top box business.
