After telecommunication reorganization and the issuance of3G licenses, the domestic telecommunications market formally entered a new period of competition. China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom competition pattern has been formed a situation of tripartite confrontation. In order to develop new data service, to win the competition in the telecommunications market on the edge, three major telecommunications operators the mobile location services as an important development in. China Mobile has set up a mobile location service base in Liaoning Province. After years of development, the Hunan company's LBS market has begun to take shape, gradually step onto the healthy fast development period, so the need for the company's LBS in-depth and systematic analysis, to ensure that the business can obtain the good and fast development.This paper analyzes the development of LBS's domestic and foreign markets, China Mobile Hunan Company's current internal and external environment, competitors and the industry value chain of the situation. Porter's theory of competitive strategy, value chain theory, PEST analysis and SWOT analysis, were used on the development of Hunan Company's LBS analysis. By PEST analysis shows that China Mobile Hunan Company's LBS is now a good time in business development,3G business is in full swing, the development of the national economy is the economic foundation of business development, the needs of users increase business driven, technology updates development of business protection. Through SWOT analysis shows that China Mobile Hunan Company, the company's overall strength and a large user base is the biggest advantage, but the mobile location services than its competitors by the accuracy of technical limitations, the current business market prospects, business development, but the user's privacy protection can not be ignored. Relative to the other two competitors, China Mobile Hunan Company has obvious advantages, in the whole industry chain of LBS in a dominant position. According to the analysis of the situation, the last article concluded, Hunan Company's mobile LBS should be differentiated and centralized implementation of competitive strategy, market segment the user precision marketing, network support work to do to strengthen the company's value chain core position, to maintain business advantage. Finally, proposed Hunan Company's LBS competition strategy implementation and the safeguard mechanism.
