At present,China’s economy has undergone a fundamental change in the growth phase, entered a new normal. Gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate changed from the past remain at 10% of the high growth phase, into a more sustainable the current 6.5% to 7% in the rapid growth phase. In the new normal, China’s oil and gas demand slow down into a more significant shift period, but the total demand in the longer term will remain rigid growth. Oil and natural gas supply and further increase the degree of easing.Sichuan province is rich in oil and natural gas resources and the shale gas projects also developed rapidly.The first national shale gas demonstration zone was built in Weiyuan-Changning. At the same time, the oil and gas industry is a long industry chain, with a wide range of related industries, which has an important guiding and decisive role in the economic and social development of relatively rich regions. Under the new normal condition, the research on the industrial correlation of Sichuan oil and natural gas industry has important practical significance to the industrial structure adjustment and the optimal allocation of resources in Sichuan province.This paper first explains the theory of industrial relevance and industry spread theory, defines the boundary of oil and natural gas industry. Secondly, from the industrial development of petroleum and natural gas in Sichuan Province, facing the opportunities and challenges in areas such as analysis of the development status of petroleum and natural gas industry in Sichuan province. Then use Sichuan Province 2002 to 2012 input-output table, calculates direct consumption coefficient, complete consuming coefficient, direct distribution coefficient, total distribution coefficient, intermediate input rate, the intermediate demand rate index of Sichuan Province, oil and gas industry for association analysis. Through the influence coefficient, induction degree coefficient, production induction coefficient and production dependent coefficient index of petroleum and natural gas industries of ripple effect analysis. In the end, draw the conclusion:Sichuan Province Petroleum and natural gas industry has multiple correlation, complex effects; indirect associations are widely, industrial chain length; influence in the middle, induction intensity, affecting a wide range, oil and natural gas industry belongs to intermediate products industry; and puts forward some suggestions:it should be combined with the Sichuan Province, the current situation of economic development, coordinated development of the oil and gas industry in the upstream and downstream, the development of petroleum finance, promote oil and gas enterprise system reform, steady development of oil and gas industry.
