A Study On The Tendency Of Foreign Trade Dependency Of China-Asian Free Trade Area

China-Asian Free Trade Area(CAFTA),is one of the largest free trade area composed by developing countries,which construction effects playing a guiding role for developing countries.Trough years,trade inside the CAFTA is bigger and bigger,and the development of trade becomes the significant part of the construction of FTA.And foreign trade dependency is the most basic,intuitive method in evaluating trade intimacy between countries.Besides,it also can be used measuring the economic opening degree of a country.In this dissertation,using the combination of theory and empirical methods,analyzing existed statistical data,this paper put emphasis on the trend of CAFTA trade dependency and characteristics.Apart from these,combing with the relevant provisions,this paper analyzes the changes through studying the foreign trade dependency.On the analysis of the development of CAFTA,this paper puts forward measures and suggestions.Through the study of CAFTA and the whole members of the foreign trade dependency,its findings presented the following changes: 1.For the CAFTA as a whole: 2001-2015,CAFTA overall trade dependency on outside rapidly rising,first peak in 2005,has been falling volatility trends then.2.In terms of CAFTA member states: 2001-2015,in addition to Malaysia,Indonesia,the remaining members of the overall foreign tradedependence all showed a trend of rising;In 2008,for the boundary,trade dependence on the outside of each member shows the change trend of decline after rising first;While each member to the area of foreign trade dependence presents ascendant trend.Then we have the reason of the change of the foreign trade dependency and foreign trade dependency changes reflected behind the trade effect analysis,the following conclusions: 1.The three major factors that affect foreign trade dependency changes as: tariff concession policy,and a country's gross national product(GNP)per capitation consumption level.2.The CAFTA construction effect is obvious: from the perspective of the static effect of trade creation effect is greater than the trade diversion effect;From the perspective of the dynamic effects of trade scale economy effect is remarkable.In a word,the establishment of CAFTA,and expand the trade between the member states,members of the trade dependency in the appear a certain degree of rise,trade creation effect is more obvious,the size of the Asian countries economic effect is remarkable.But each member trade dependence on external advanced economies is still serious,therefore CAFTA should further optimize trade policy,strengthening cooperation in various fields,to promote further development of trade,to lay a good foundation to create updated version of the free trade area.
