Influenced by both financial disintermediation and online financing recently, the traditional business model has become obsolete, in which the bank had profited from significant interest margin by scale economy. The commercial bank in China has to reconsider their development strategy of business, attempting community financing and developing commercial retail business. Nevertheless, China's community financing, which remains primitive and blur in business model is experiencing a set of problems such as the homogenization of products and services, undiversified business structure, and insufficient cross selling. All these have hindered the community financing from healthy, rapid and sustainable development. On this basis, this thesis attempts to explore a suitable business model for the community financing of China's commercial banks with distinct Chinese characteristics and make a strategic proposal for the development of community financing, by researching the prospect, market structure and target customers of community financing and analyzing the state quo and difficulties of business in other countries.Other than the fundamental theories, the Thesis also employs the relational contract and the symbiosis financing theories to analyze the necessity and feasibility for community financing. Furthermore, it looks into the state quo of community financing domestic and overseas, so as to find out the most distinctive feature of China's commercial community financing and the restrain it has met, to which a systematic discourse of developing strategy is further made to push forward the orderly growing of China's community financing, from the business model, the management mechanism, to the strategy of competition and the recommendation of policies...
