Design Of Layout And Picking System For Logistics And Distribution Center Of An Enterprise

This paper chose typical significance of shoes and apparel companies as a distribution center planning and design objectives,in support of the direct distribution to the shop business model,to make the concept design for East china warehouse,including the following:1.To analyze the logistics rules.Through the analysis of historical data,the logistics characteristic and rules were established.Combined with the company's development,plan and strategies,the conceptual design objective was then proposed;After the total warehouse resource analysis,WUXING warehouse was chosen as the new distribution center to analyze,integrate and optimize the current warehouse resources.2.The conceptual design solutions was explored based on the logistics warehouse building construct and logistics rules,which include:layout and material flow line analysis,system design capabilities,operations strategy design,such as the WMS needs analysis core content.3.The research can improve the efficiency of order picking in the modern distribution center,to improve supply chain responsiveness,to improve logistics service levels,to reduce inventory,to speed up inventory turns.The design introduced in the paper has important guidance and driving function in development of logistics and building distribution center in China.
