As the continuous development of national economy, as well as the residents' disposable income, it greatly accelerates the growing of personal finance market where has become a battleground of financial institutions. However, the products and services provided by traditional financial institutions has already been unable to meet their diverse and personalized financial needs, therefore, third-party financial institution came into being. They are customer-oriented financial institutions in which they can select financial products and provide investment advice for customers on the stand of customers. With the continuous development of internet technology, the domestic internet industry ushered in a wave of restructuring. Internet financial platform was born in this context.The author analyzed and studied the domestic and the developed countries' financial development models, hoping to find the competitive internet financial business model which adapts to China's market. First of all, this paper outlines the background and significance of this study and the study methods, and secondly, a detailed presentation of this new thing that what is the internet financial was introduced, then, the internal and external aspect of personal finance business on internet financial platform was detailed analyzed by the author, and five problems of the development of internet personal financial business were revealed as follows: zero commission on intermediary business; low conversion rate of personal financial services; oneness of the existing profit model; low quality of employees; insufficient capability of offline customer services and improvable operating environment. Thirdly, the internet financial markets of developed countries was detailed presented and in-depth analyzed, on this basis, valuable and sharable experience in overseas markets were summed up as follows: to make the collection and mining of simulated account book data more comprehensive, smarter computing, and visual display more intuitive; to do the customer subdivision and target customer groups development much more professional, specific, explicit, and to let the platform be interactive for commercialization of a portfolio and investment strategy. Finally, three levels of suggestions on customer acquisition, customer services and environment of sub-industry were proposed for the domestic development of personal finance business on internet financing platform.
