Research On The Obstacles Of Chinese State Owned Enterprises In The Area Of Direct Investment In Latin America

In recent years,China and Latin American and Caribbean countries have maintained frequent exchanges of high-level visits,deepening cooperation between government,improving financial cooperation,and Chinese enterprises' direct investment in Latin America continues to grow,which,the main investors are Chinese state-owned enterprises.But in the process of Chinese state-owned enterprises investing in Latin America,due to cultural differences,policy changes and other factors leading to investment losses,it is not uncommon.In order to avoid unnecessary losses,this paper from the perspective of theoretical and empirical analyzes the obstacles which Chinese state-owned enterprises directly invest in the Latin American region will encounter,in order to be able to give some advice to Chinese state-owned enterprises.This paper first reviews the history of foreign investment in Chinese state-owned enterprises,analyzes the status quo of Chinese state-owned enterprises in the direct investment in Latin America.Based on this background,the obstacles which may be encountered in the direct investment of Chinese state owned enterprises in Latin America are respectively analyzed from two dimensions of international and domestic obstacles.The international obstacles,this paper argues that there are barriers to social and cultural environment of the complexity of the problem : economic growth is weak,the financial environment is not stable,infrastructure is weak,economic and labor,the policy of high risk,low administrative efficiency;and disorder in domestic are analyzed from the state-owned enterprises' existing structural barriers and other obstacles factors.On the basis of theoretical analysis,this paper demonstrates the influence of some obstacles on the direct investment of state owned enterprises by the method of empirical analysis.Based on the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from two aspects of macro and micro level.
