Research On Self-service Equipment Operation Management Of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Xi'an Branch

With information technology and electronic level's rising in commercial banks, the stock of customers and market share competition continue to intensify. As a representative of self-service equipment, ATM become more and more important for personal or company's banking business, not only to achieve customer retention or increase viscosity, but also seize operations and offer more possibilities to billing ways support. Because of ATM is very important for financial race and people's daily use, it have had unprecedented attention to commercial banks. Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Xi'an Branch also has increased investment in ATM after 2003, but with the expansion of the scale of ATM, how to balance efficiency and service qualities, even to make them all higher, always an issue for all banks, especially Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Xi'an Branch. When we see customers and banks benefit form ATM, we must also recognize ATM's investment cost too much and the problem of low efficiency operation, which making operation and management mode of ATM need changing urgently. Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Xi'an Branch's future competitiveness also depends on it.Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Xi'an Branch is one of the few in the Northwest to carry out self-service equipment business development of the earlier commercial banks. Xi'an Branch always adheres to high-quality customer service, to guard and against the risk, to regular, to efficient and safe operation. Through a series of meticulous measures and operations, we can make strong support and protection for Xi'an branch's daily work. In this paper, I will use the ATM's operation and management of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Xi'an Branch as the main line, and exposition of ATM by domestic and foreign operation and management, to analyze ATM's operation and management problems in Xi'an Branch, such as unreasonable location, low efficiency, high operation and management cost. By the use of qualitative and quantitative methods, documents and data, empirical analysis, aim to give viable solutions to enhance Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Xi'an branch of the business operations management level, which have very important strategic significance, such as scientific location selection plan, a sound process system, a reasonable business outsourcing model and the use of scientific and technological means to strengthen innovation, and also bring some reference for other commercial banks.
