Food safety is a major livelihood issue.In recent years,with the formation of food safety risk monitoring of "Food Safety Law" and assessment system,the introduction of"Food Safety Law Enforcement Regulations" made by the State Council,and the implementation of "Food Safety Risk Assessment and Management(Trial)",the establishment of the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Expert Committee and the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center,China's food safety risk assessment system framework has been basically formed,at the same time food safety risk communication work gradually carried out.but the risk communication effect is not optimistic.Mainly because experts prediction of risk factors relies on science,the risk assessment process,while public prediction of risk factors depend on personal experiences and feelings,the risk perception.Risk of certain features easily enlarge people's risk perception,then impact their behavior and attitudes.To analyze the characteristics of consumer risk perception in favor of food safety risk communication conducting smoothly.Food safety risk communication's problems manifested following aspects,first,consumers' basics of food safety risk needs to be enhanced;second,food safety risk communication experts and technical institutions need to be strengthened;third,enterprise food safety risk communication mechanism needs to be perfect;fourth,New Media food safety risk communication mechanism needs to be standardized.In contrast,Japan,the European Union,the United States and other developed countries as practitioner of food safety risk communication,their risk communication system have been identified in the form of law,by providing specialized agencies and supporting systems to protect risk communication's science,conducting consumer risk perception and satisfaction survey to ensure the effectiveness of food safety risk communication.In order to solve problems of China's food safety risk communication,this paper analyzes the characteristics of food safety risk's cognitive,conducts food safety risk communication satisfaction research,and learn from Japan,the European Union and other countries,successful food safety risk communication experiences,put forward a sound proposal of food safety risk communication from the following aspects.First,strengthen food safety education,enhance consumer's food safety basics;second,improve the independence of experts and enhance language popularity;Third,carry out food exchange projects,improve corporate food safety risk communication mechanisms;Fourth,improve the specification of new media exchanges,enhance the positive effect of new media in the food safety risk communication.
