In the era of globalized knowledge-based economy,society has gradually entered the era of unprecedented innovation and industrial change.Knowledge creation and application are becoming the foundation and source of global wealth growth.The role of patent in the development and competition of science and technology industry in the world become more important.PCT patents have become an important symbol of technological innovation.The United States is the world's most technologically advanced countries of science and technology,and it is important to explore the development of technological innovation capability.This paper analyzes the development status of US PCT patent,the evolution of spatial pattern and the relationship between patent and industry development.The study found that the United States in the field of electrical engineering,instrumentation and chemical field of patent growth faster,the largest number of computer technology patents.The patent in the field of instrumentation,chemistry and mechanical engineering was "two-point and one side" spatial distribution,electrical engineering and other areas of patent was "outshine others" spatial distribution.Different areas of technology in space to gather distribution.PCT patents in the US technical field are interrelated in spatial distribution.In the process of evolution,instruments and chemistry show spatiotemporal inertia,electrical engineering,mechanical engineering and other areas of the trend of increased polarization.Most of the technical areas are located in areas where technology is relatively well developed and innovative.Then,the paper analyzes the mechanism of patent spatial pattern difference in different technical fields.Finally,the use of patents and industry relations,through the distribution of technical comparative advantage in the field,for the development of the industry to provide relevant recommendations.And then combined with the experience of the United States,this paper for China to make recommendations.
