Financial Diagnosis Report Of Shennong Gene Based On Harvard Analysis Framework

Seeds are a key factor to determine the crop yield and quality,and it is the core of the agricultural industry chain.Seed enterprises,which is the main part of the seed industry,its operation and development are very important to ensure national food security,to settle well problems of agriculture,rural areas and farmers,and to achieve long-term stable development of agriculture and agricultural modernization.The first document of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)has repeatedly stressed the importance of strengthening the principal position of seed enterprises and cultivating modern seed enterprises with international competitiveness.As an important content of seed enterprise integrated management,financial management and financial diagnosishave an important significance on the analysis of enterprise financial risk,on the evaluation of seed enterprise's financial position and operating results,and on strengthening the service efficiency of funds of enterprises and financial management consciousness.The financial diagnosis on seed enterprises,and the analysis of problems existing in financial management of enterprisebased on Harvard analysis framework,can provide important basis and pertinenceto improve enterprise's financial position and operating results,and to strengthen management efficiency and management quality,and can also help to enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of seed enterprise,and to promote the seed enterprises healthy development.In this paper,we use case study method,and have selected Hainan Shennong Gene Technology Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "the Gene of Shennong").Through harvard analysis framework of four aspects: strategy analysis,accounting analysis,financial analysis and prospect analysis,we analyze the development situation of Shennong Gene from 2011 to 2015,and the comparison with the long ping high-tech's financial position,which is the leading enterprises in seed industry.Firstly,about the macro environment of the seed industry,based on the company's development strategy,the author puts forward relevant opinions and Suggestions on the strategic choice of the company;Secondly,the author analyzes accounts receivable,inventory and fixed assets that affect key accounting policies and accounting estimates;Then,the financial statements and financial ratios of the balance sheets,income statements and financial ratios of the genes of the shennong gene arediagnosed;Finally,the diagnosis of the first three steps makes a good prediction of the future of the company.By the financial diagnosisof shennong genesbased on harvard analysis framework,and mastering the recent operation status,profitability of the enterprise,and enterprise in the industry development situation,the author found that financial problems of shennong gene and the gap between other seed enterprises,and the author put forward related Suggestions.The author looks forward to improve the enterprise's accounting,accounting policies and accounting estimates,and to improve enterprise financial management ability,thus to help enterprises to achieve better development,and to have a certain reference significance for other enterprises in the seed industry.
