| With the acceleration of the national strategy of "the Belt and Road",China and Bangladesh also continued to deepen cooperation.In promoting the development of bilateral relations and expansion of foreign investment projects,the variety of risks faced by Chinese enterprises is also increasing.In the context of "the Belt and Road",this paper takes a coal-fired power plant project in Bangladesh,which will be invested by a Chinese company,as an example to study how to control and assess the risks of foreign investments.First of all,this paper will focus on the interpretation of the policies "the Belt and Road".Then,it will attempt to define possible risks faced by Chinese enterprises in this coal-fired power plant investment project in Bangladesh.Next,it will help enterprises to build a risk assessment system for this power plant project in the context of "the Belt and Road".After that,this paper will make an effective assessment and judgment for this particular investment using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP).Finally,evaluation of conclusions will provide effective control strategies and measures.It can be seen through risk assessment,the risks belong to Bangladesh coal-fired power plant project is mild and can be controlled.However at the same time,we must realize the chance of medium risk is 0.24,therefore we must enhance the risk management capabilities to prevent risk increases.Through this study,we aim to clarify the overall risk of the coal-fired power plant investment project in Bangladesh,while at same time gives a strong insight on how Chinese enterprises can rationally control the risk and maximize investment profit when making similar overseas investment projects. |
