The Comparative Research Of Knowledge Intensive Service Trade In "BRICS"

With the rapid development of economic globalization,Services Trade has become more and more important all around the world,In the past 15 years,services trade growth rate is higher than GDP growth rate.trade scale has expanded largely from 2005 to 2014,Global trade in services has doubled in size,is now close to $10 trillion,which has became an important driving force for global economic growth and expanding employment.From the industrial distribution,computer and information services,communication services and other emerging service industry show rapid growth,which will became the new growth point of service trade.Knowledge intensive service trade refers to the knowledge,technology and information as the basis,to provide a variety of knowledge service for international trade in services.And as an important part of service trade,knowledge intensive service trade obtains more and more attention due to its different role in a country's economic,This paper mainly focuses on the knowledge intensive service trade of BRICS.As a representative of the emerging economies,the BRICS countries develop rapidly in recent years,therefore,a comprehensive analysis of the BRICS countries knowledge intensive service trade is of great significance.Combined with the balance of international knowledge intensive service trade of BRICS,the paper make a comparison among the five countries,and then use the export market share index,trade competitiveness index,dominant compared advantage index to analyze their international competitiveness of knowledge intensive service trade.As a result,We successfully obtain competitiveness condition of BRICS.Finally,using the empirical analysis method to study the influence factors of knowledge intensive service trade volume,so as to find out the ideas and proposals to enhance the competitiveness of knowledge intensive service trade.In Porter's diamond model,there are six aspects of the factors of production--demand factors,related industries,firm strategy,structure and competition,government and opportunities.These factors can affect a country's knowledge-based service trade competitiveness.According to this theory,I extract several factors to analyze their affect to the BRICs knowledge intensive service trade,these factors are the proportion of GDP,expenditure on education,urbanization level,goods trade scale,the scale of trade in services,trade in services open degree.Through model analysis,we conclude that the selected variables basically can well explain the explanatory variables.All of the analysis and efforts are used to analyze China's promotion.In details:first,accumulate human capital.Second,adjust the industrial structure of service trade.Third,optimize the relationship between service trade and goods trade,and promote the mutual benefit of the two.Fourth,take appropriate protection of the open road.Fifth,actively introduce FDI,to play its role in all aspects.Sixth,perfect the laws and regulations of the knowledge service trade,and provide guarantee for the healthy development of the knowledge service trade.
