International Monetary System is the rules and institutions govern the relationship between national currencies as well as various international transactions,a payment arrangements and practices are based.The international monetary system in time sequence can be divided into the gold standard,the Bretton Woods system and the temporary system and Jamaica transitional period.Only improve the international monetary system mechanism works well in order to trade between each other countries,cross-border flows and balance of payments adjustment funds to provide the necessary environment and conditions.In the current Jamaican system,the release of quantitative easing of the dollar,the global excess liquidity,there are a large number of inter-exchange rate instability.For the international monetary system still need to run its operating mechanism and constantly improve the environment to solve many problems.The current reform of the international monetary system is the development needs of many countries in the world,the world in particular,the developing countries need is a fair few countries are not manipulated by the global economic and financial environment.However,the reform has been basically a small number of currency distribution between the interests of the redistribution of the results of reform is difficult to benefit the majority of countries.In this paper,the current international monetary system is briefly introduced,focusing on the current international monetary system,several important currency and its status were introduced.Then be analyzed by principal component analysis of the competitiveness of several major international currency currency countries and other major economies between.Finally,to make recommendations to enhance the competitiveness of the yuan through the interpretation of the analysis results.
