A Research Of The Impact Of Technology Sourcing OFDI On The Independent Innovation Of Jiangsu's Manufacturing Industry

Independent innovation is a key factor to enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise in the market,also the last goal of "created in China".With the advancement of globalization of production and the implementation of the strategy of "Going Global",the government and enterprises play more and more attention in promoting independent innovation ability,and seek a variety of methods and channels.Jiangsu province,as the characteristics of outward-oriented economy,technology sourcing OFDI have noticeable performance,such as acquiring overseas technology company,setting up overseas R&D institutions,etc.Domestic and foreign scholars show that technology sourcing OFDI have a positive impact on promoting the independent innovation capacity of motherland and industrial upgrading.Jiangsu province is the first big province of manufacturing in China and has made great achievements in the field of industrial revolution,but the high-end industrial technology level is still relatively backward,the external technology acquisition is one important way of improving the capacity of independent innovation.Therefore,the research on Jiangsu manufacturing industry influenced by technology sourcing OFDI is very significant in realizing the goal of independent innovation and industrial structure upgrading.In view of the research question,this thesis uses the method of qualitative and quantitative analysis.Qualitative aspects,based on the related theory,this paper analyses the influence mechanism of technology sourcing OFDI on independent innovation,which includes two aspects:the first is technology sourcing OFDI promotes technical progress of investor,the other is technological progress improves the independent innovation of manufacturing industry.Quantitative aspects,the first step is stripping technology sourcing part of OFDI in Jiangsu province,this is one of this paper's innovation points,also including the comprehensive evaluation about the present situation of the independent innovation in manufacturing.From the empirical test,conclusions show that technology sourcing OFDI promote the manufacturing industry independent innovation effectively.According to the above results,this paper brings forward some countermeasures and suggestions from the perspectives of enterprise and government.
