An Analysis Of Regional Economic Development State Based On Ente Rprise Financial Performance

As a traditional industrial city in north China,Tianjin’s GDP was 1.572247 trillion yua n in 2014,which increased 10%compared with 2013.At the same time,with the deepening and development of Tianjin Binhai New Area,the economy of each district and county also developed well which made the comprehensive strength of Tianjin onto a new height.For example,new steps have been taken in the structural adjustment;the city function has been increased;the social development has made new progress;the development of economy in Tianjin has attracted more attention.This article tries to take the corporate financial perfor mance evaluation index as the starting point and use the performance evaluation results to f urther explore the economic development in Tianjin because the existing researches focusin g on the analysis the operating and financial conditions of enterprises and industries.Howe ver,there are not too many researches which reflect the overall macroeconomic situation of a region.The listed companies had been 39 in Tianjin by March,2014.As the main force of driv ing the development of regional economy,its development and expansion has played a maj or role for the sustainable,rapid and healthy development of the local economy.The sampl e of the thesis is the financial data of 31 listed companies in Tianjin in the statistical year.B ased on the four aspects of financial performance evaluation,the thesis chooses 12 financial indexes,uses the method of principal component analysis and get an evaluation system of t he company’s financial performance as well as its scores and ranking by dealing with the or iginal data,extracting the principal components and calculating the scores of principal com ponents and financial performance.The thesis analyzes the pros and cons of various financi al indicators as well as the situation of economic development in Tianjin through the scores and ranking.According to the research conclusions mentioned above,the thesis puts forwar d some pertinent suggestions to the economic development of the listed companies and regi on in Tianjin.To sum up,the financial performance indicator is not only the measure of performance of companies and industries,but also the indicator of regional economic development.The improvement of the current economic situation in Tianjin and the reasonable increase of the listed companies’ ability of debt,operation,growth as well as profitability are not only the contents the company’s management should focus on,but also the effective measures for g overnment to further promote the development of regional economy.
