Statistical Analysis Of The Influence Of Logistics Industry On Economic Growth In Northeast China

Along with the advance of network and communication technology, the development of modern logistics industry has shown a huge potential. In recent years,China's logistics industry has been developing rapidly. Subsequently, it is playing a more and more important role in economic growth. According to the ranking of our provincial economy in 2015, the northeast provinces have a severe economic downturn, including Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang. With the implementation of China's "The Belt and Road" strategy in 2015, the Northeast China becomes an important window for Northeast Asia, of course it is just a good opportunity to revitalize the northeast economy, so that it will inject new vitality into the economy by its obvious regional advantages.Logistics industry is indispensable in every part of production and lives. Therefore,in order to revitalize the northeast economy in new round of development, we must pay enough attention to the development of logistics industry. Based on the statistical analysis of the influence of logistics industry on the economic growth of northeast China, this paper points out the problems existing in the development of logistics in Northeast China,and give some appropriate suggestions.The main contents of this paper are as follows. First, test the relationship between logistics industry and economic growth in Northeast China, use the Granger causality test to verify the relationship between the logistics demand, supply, overall development and economic growth. The conclusion is that the relationship between logistics demand and economic growth has the strongest effect, both of them are the Granger causalities.Second, construct the Logistic function model of Northeast China. Through the marginal, elastic and inflection point analysis, this paper can make a certain understanding of the level of logistics development in Northeast China. The conclusion is that the level of logistics development is still in the increasing stage, and the economy is becoming more and more sensitive to the change of logistics industry.Third, construct the panel data of eight economic zones in 1996-2015, and focus on the analysis of the factors that affect the economic growth by a comparative contrast of Northeast China and other regions, finally find out the gap of development in logistics industry.The innovation of this paper is that it gives a reasonable basis for selecting the freight turnover as the explanatory variable in the Logistic function. In the past literature,the vast majority of scholars did not make a reasonable explanation for the selection of this index, so it may not make people convinced.
