With the globalization of economy and the implementation of "localization" strategy of multinational corporations, more and more MNC have established strategic cooperation relationship with local enterprises, formed the benign interaction in the cooperation, realized the sharing of knowledge and resources, and created new competition advantage.Related policies and the development of China's accession to the WTO and other landmark events, bring opportunities and constraints to the corporations between MNC and local enterprises.Although the form of multinational investment in China is becoming more and more diversified, such as the establishment of R & D institutions, the establishment of wholly-owned subsidiaries, and the strategic cooperation agreement, but because of China's protection of local industries and other factors, the establishment of joint ventures Companies are the only choice for MNC sometimes. With the development of science and technology in China, local enterprises are no longer just follow the "market for technology" strategic approach. They have more options. Then, understanding the cooperation rules between MNC and local enterprises, exploring the factors that affect the establishment of cooperative relations, can provide a reference for decision-making.These two points are the contents of this paper.Firstly,by reviewing the literature, this paper analyzes the theoretical basis of the evolution and the influencing factors of cooperative relationship, and gives the relevant metrics to provide the theoretical basis and basis for the following analysis.Secondly, this paper takes the automobile industry as an example, collects the data of five representative enterprises in the past 60 years.Using the social network analysis tool Ucinet.6,it is found that multinational corporations and local enterprises gradually form a cooperative network in the evolution of cooperative relationship, and each stage shows different characteristics. The conclusion is as follows: In the evolution process, the cooperation network between MNC and local enterprises is expanding, all of the number of cooperative subjects, the types of the cooperative subjects and the times of the cooperation are increasing, which shows that the network resources benefit more widely; The position of MNC and local enterprises cooperate has changed,MNC from the dominant enterprise into a coordinated enterprise and local enterprises from the coordination of enterprises into dominant enterprises. Then,Construct the theoretical framework of the evolution of cooperative relationship between MNC and local enterprises.According to the results of the social network analysis,we select SAIC a as the representative to explore the factors of the cooperative relationship by qualitative comparative analysis. The analysis is carried out in stages according to the evolving process of the cooperative network. And the differences are compared in stages. The first stage of the sample size is too small to be analyzed. And the conclusions of the latter two stages are as follows: The second stage leads to two paths of cooperation, the overall strength of large differences *(high degree of interdependence + cooperation in previous years); The third stage leads to two paths of cooperation, cooperation in previous years(small knowledge difference * low degree of interdependence * large knowledge gap * high degree of interdependence);Enterprises focus on “comprehensive strength” in the second stage, but they focus on “cooperation in previous years” in the third stage. They are path-dependent when choosing a partner in the last stage. Finally, based on the above conclusions, this paper gives some suggestions on the choice of partners in Chinese enterprises, and puts forward the shortcomings of this paper and the prospect of the future.
