Research On The Factors Affecting Local Government Investment Efficiency From The Perspective Of Spatial Economy

After entering the 21 st century,he development of China was becoming more and more fast in economic.As the domestic economic restructuring change,the pace of development was slowing,the rate of GDP growth from 10.4% in 2010 dropped to6.7% of 2016,in the current situation,The things are more severe.At present,there are overcapacity problems in many industries of China,input can not become output in many areas,there is a lot of waste.In this context,the study of efficiency is very necessary.The investment of government as a basis social investment,the role is very important.This article will take the thirty provinces and cities as the research object and with the use of relevant theories and the DEA models to study the government investment efficiency score and its influencing factors from 2010 to 2015.Based on the research conclusion,it provides suggestions for the local government to improve the investment efficiency.First of all,by studying the relevant information,build the investment efficiency evaluation system.Based on the traditional DEA model to calculate the 2010-2015 investment efficiency of various provinces and municipalities.The empirical results show that the investment efficiency of each province/city fluctuates every year during the study period.The integrated efficiency score value is equal to 1 is very little,the waste of resource is more serious.It shows that the studying of the efficiency in local government investment are very import.Second,there is a difference value of each local government investment eff iciency.The investment efficiency is affected by some factors,such as regional p opulation characteristics,regional affluence,education level,government scale and education level.From these findings we can drawn that,control inputs and streng then supervision can improve the efficiency of government investment.Thirdly,there are regional differences in the efficiency of local government investment,further considering the impact of the existence of spatial effects on investment efficiency.Through a series of tests,such as Moran's I index and LMstatistic.We can get that government investment efficiency have the positive spatial correlation.Through the space Tobit mode,we can draw the following conclusions:The efficiency of government investment is not only related to technology,industrial structure and regional market characteristics,but also has a great relationship with the spatial economic factors.Technological progress can improve labor productivity and increase efficiency.Also,governent investment should simplify the decision-making process,the government should enhance the spirit of technology and innovation.In the process of urbanization,government should be planned in advance,pay more attention to the rational allocation of resources.Governments should speed up the liquidity of inter-regional elements and the scale of formation of economies,improving the efficiency of local government investment.Finally,summarize the full text and put forward to some suggestions to improve the efficiency of local government investment.
