To solve the disadvantages of lacking of trust and the antagonism of interests among project stakeholders in traditional contract mode,a new type of integrated project delivery mode(Integrated Project Delivery,IPD)arises at the historic moment. In IPD projects, the characteristics of project stakeholders' early involvement, multiparty agreement, benefit sharing, and risk allocation make the conflicts among different organizations inevitable in collaboration process, and the collaboration performance also become the key factor of measuring the success of IPD projects. As a crucial soft skill, the contribution of emotional intelligence(EI)to leadership behaviors and organizational performance has attracted much attention. But in construction domain emphasizing technique and practical experience, the impact of EI on leadership styles and project performance is ignored, and the influence path analysis of emotional intelligence and leadership styles on collaboration performance through conflicts resolution is scarcer.Considering the situation of IPD projects, the study makes the core management members in integrated team as respondents, modifies the measurement models of EI,leadership styles, conflicts resolution and collaboration performance based on literature review and expert interviews, and then proposes three mediation models of “EI-leadership styles-collaboration performance”,“EI-conflicts resolution-collaboration performance”,and “leadership styles-conflicts resolution-collaboration performance”.After using SPSS software to analyze questionnaire data through correlation analysis and regression analysis, the results show that: First, transformational and active-transactional leadership fully mediate the relationships of EI with effectiveness and efficiency satisfaction, and are partial mediators between the relation of EI and relationship satisfaction. In addition, the partial mediation roles of passive-transactional leadership between the relationships of EI with relationship satisfaction and interest satisfaction are identified, but its mediating effects about effectiveness and efficiency satisfaction are not found. The laissez-faire leadership dose not plays mediating roles between EI and collaboration performance.Second, conflicts resolution fully mediates the relationships of EI with collaboration performance.Third, conflicts resolution plays partial mediating roles between transformational leadership and collaboration performance, and its full mediation effects between active or passive transactional leadership and collaboration satisfaction are found. However, conflicts resolution dose not mediate the relationships of laissez-faire leadership and collaboration satisfaction. Finally, the inner correlation analysis among dimensions of EI,leadership styles and conflicts resolution have guiding significance for the selection of core management members in integrated team.
