| Henan Xinlianxin Fertilizer Co.,Ltd.(Henan XLX)is a fertilizer enterprise and mainly use anthracite coal as raw material.Henan XLX established in 1969,used to be a small nitrogen fertilizer company with ammonia annual capacity of 3000 tons,and main product was Ammonium Bicarbonate.In 1994,Henan XLX started to produce Urea through technical upgrades.In 2003,Henan XLX became Private Enterprise through Management Buy Outs(MBO).After several years of rapid growth,it has expand the scale and increase variety of its products,and improved its profitability.In 8th December 2009,it successfully listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.Due to the increased scale of Henan XLX,its Coal consumption has increased from 100 tons per day to 3500-3700 tons per day.Currently,its annual coal consumption increased to more than 1.2 million tons,the coal costs accounts for more than 55% of its total production costs and more than 80% of its total cash procurements.At the same time,being the irreplaceable raw material of urea,the main product of Henan XLX,coal plays a very important role in the development of Henan XLX.To ensure the development of the Company,the coal purchasing model is changing constantly with the change of the market and the development of the enterprise.This paper includes Introduction,Henan XLX overview and its procurement environment,The changes of Henan XLX coal purchasing model,The analysis of changes of Henan XLX coal purchasing model,Suggested improvements to Henan XLX coal purchasing model,and Conclusion.Through the six chapters,to elaborate the paper's background;overview of Henan XLX;Allocation of coal resources in China;The development of coal enterprisesand analysis of competitors' coal purchasing model;comparing the differences of different purchasing model.This paper emphasis on analyzing the changes of Henan XLX's coal purchasing model,summering the experience of its success and weakness and provide some suggestions for further improvement of Henan XLXChapter I,it mainly includes the background and main content of the thesis;how to do analysis and the significance of the researchChapter II,it mainly includesoverview of Henan XLX;Allocation of coal resources in China;Allocation of coal resources and development of coal enterprises in Shanxi province;Allocation of coal resources and development of coal enterprises in Henan province;Geographical location and regional distribution of coal purchases of Henan XLX;Comparison of its major competitors' coal purchasing model;Finally,there are some opinions on the future development of Chemical fertilizer industry.Chapter III,it mainly includes the changes of coal purchasing model Henan XLX been made according to the changes of market and the company's development.Henan XLX has adopted varies coal purchasing model such as: Fixed coal mine coal purchasing model,agency coal purchasing model,the mixture of fixed coal mine and agency coal purchasing model,strategic cooperation coal purchasing model.Chapter IV,it is to summarize and analyze the changes of Henan XLX's coal purchasing model,and find its weakness.Chapter V,According to the shortage of the current coal purchasing mode,some improvement suggestions are put forward.Chapter VI,Conclusion: Henan XLX changed the original Agency coal purchasing model to Strategic cooperation with Mid-Large Coal Mines,which enable to obtain stable coal supplies and improve coal quality with competitive pricing,most important,it enable the company to improve its supplier management system,and provide experience to adopt excellent supply chain system.This will ensure resources supply to in line with the rapid development of Henan XLX.At the same time,it also helps the company to be awarded ‘Model of Energy – Efficient Enterprise in Synthetic Ammonia Sector'.Finally,the research results of this paper not only have guiding significance to the coal purchasing of Henan XLX,but also have certain reference value for the construction of the procurement channels to the companies in the industry. |
