| Under the current economic situation,the competitiveness of one companies of its nature relies on the competitiveness of its talents.While what is worth mentioning is that selection and assignment of cadres plays an essential role in establishing the talent competitiveness of one company.The management of cadres is considered to be a guiding star of one company,leading the company to its intended goal and also determines the development of the company.With three decades of reformation,state owned companies in our country have been making a great progress in economic development and national modernization defense service field.However,compared with that,no big difference has been made on the selection and assignment of cadres in medium and small state owned companies,which mainly reflecting on that old practices obtained from the command economy era have been adopted all along in deciding the selection and assignment of cadres in lots of state owned defense companies.That is to say,the practices relating to the selection and assignment of cadres undertaken by the state owned companies cannot meet the requirement of the development of modern company.By accessing and reading a great amount of books,research papers and periodicals,this paper mainly addresses on each procedure in the selection and assignment of cadres in state owned companies and a case study has been carried out on the basis of theoretical study.A defense company,which is shortly for company C,is taken as the research subject,with the help of the cadres review work,by collecting questionnaires and conducting targeted interviews,a research,which regarding to the competence of cadres of C company,has been carried out.And some findings on the selection and assignment of cadres in company C have been obtained.By analyzing reasons which cause those problems that have been found,measures on how to develop a suitable selection and assignment of cadres system which is able to fit the development of modern company are proposed in this paper,hopefully,this can assist the improvement of the current selection and assignment system and the development of companies. |
