Strategic alliance is an important organizational form of enterprises'development at the present time, it is a perfect choice for enterprises to comply win-win business cooperation. As widely used in practice, strategic alliance has met a series of problems such as unstability and low performance. This thesis suggests that inappropriate selection of strategic alliance partners is one of the core reasons for these problems, how to choose the right alliance partners is the key to the success of strategic alliances.In strategic alliance partner selection, adverse selection is a common problem. This thesis reaches a systematic analysis of causes and influences of the Adverse Selection in strategic alliance partner selection; using the theory of information economics and Game Theory as the analysis tool to puts forward a model of Adverse Selection in Strategic Alliance Partner Selection; with this model in-depth quantitative analysis and further argumentations about the basic elements of adverse selection are given, on which this thesis proposes a series of advice and measures to avoid the occurrence of adverse selection. A model of Signal Screening in Strategic Alliance Partner Selection based on technological innovation capability is also established.Finally, this thesis takes high-tech enterprises of Zibo City as an example to depicts the strategic alliance partner selection process and the general steps, comes up with some methods and measures which can be used for signal transmission and signal screening. Combined with some relevant statistical data, analysis and appraisal have done. Overall, the basic content of this thesis are as follows:1.Summary of the theory of strategic alliances. This thesis summarizes the motivations of strategic alliance; overviews the principles, methods and models of strategic alliance partner selection in the existing researches; summarizes the lack of existing researches.2.This thesis analysis the causes, performance and influences of asymmetric information in strategic alliance partner selection; the conditions and impacts of the occurrence of adverse selection is analysised; quantitative analysis of the problem is realized through the model of Adverse Selection in Strategic Alliance Partner Selection, basic measures to solve the problem are obtained by further analysis.3.This thesis establishes a model of Signal Screening in Strategic Alliance Partner Selection based on technological innovation capability, taking high-tech enterprises of Zibo City as an example, advice and recommendations are given to these enterprises for strategic alliance partner selection.4.The limitations of this thesis are summed up and the possible breakthroughs in future study are pointed out, in order to provide a theoretical reference for the following studies.
