Process And Prospect Analysis Of China-ASEAN Regional Economic Integration

Today regional economic integration promotes the development of the international economy,which has received more and more attention from all the countries of the world and is becoming more diversification.From looking back the 1990s to today's world economic development mileage,we don't difficulty find two important features are increasingly appeared,one is affecting the global economic development of globalization,the other is to promote regional economic growth of regional economic integration,their function in the development of the world economy is that we can't ignore.In the process of EU regional economic integration,the countries of Southeast Asia have gradually opened up various areas,all levels,all aspects of economic cooperation,and achieved breakthrough results.Of course,China and ASEAN are no exception.In 2003,Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao signed the"Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia" with representatives of the parties attending the meeting at the "ASEAN 10 + 1" Leaders' Meeting held in Bali,Indonesia.The signing of the treaty not only marks the beginning of the regional economic integration between China and ASEAN,but also the political relationship between China and ASEAN has been greatly improved.Through more than 13 years of efforts,the rapid development of China and ASEAN regional economic integration in the high efficiency areas:trade,finance and investment.However,But is this process just really like on the surface?which stage should be located in the process?Although many of the relevant research materials available for reviewing,but most of them only stay in qualitative analysis,quantitative analysis is not a lot.In this article,the author attempts to establish a new set of evaluation indicators to measure the degree of development of regional economic integration,to explore China and ASEAN future development prospects.The new indicators includes three areas that trade,finance and investment,measuring China and ASEAN regional economic integration is a new initiative.The content of this article is organized as follows:The first chapter is the introduction of the introduction part,which contains four sections of the content:topic background and research significance;domestic and foreign research status;research ideas and structural arrangements;this research methods and deficiencies.The second chapter introduces the meaning of the region,and expand the essence of regional economic integration,coupled with the relevance theory.From the two parts of the introduction,part of the regional economic integration of the meaning and development of the status quo,the other part is on the regional economic integration theory.The third chapter is about the formation of China and ASEAN regional economic integration of the causes and problems.From the economic and cultural perspectives of regional economic integration of the formation of the causes,and then analyze the problems they face.The fourth chapter is a set of new indicators to measure the economic integration between China and ASEAN.Firstly,it describes the indicators and calculation methods of regional economic integration,and uses this method to calculate the relevant indexes of trade,finance and investment,and then analyzes the development process of regional economic integration according to the calculation results.The fifth chapter looks forward to the prospect of China and ASEAN in promoting regional economic integration.
