Research On The Overseas Merger And Acquisition Benefits Of China Security Firms

Today's China is becoming an indispensable part of the international market day by day.China plays an important international role in the world economy,and the internationalization of China's economy needs financial support fromsecurities companies.In the context of economic internationalization,overseas M & A is a good choice for Chinese securities companies to improve their overall strength.Overseas mergers and acquisitions is an important way to expand overseas markets.Currently,Chinese securities companies have lots of problems,such as,the international development history is short,the international business is in low level,and the international development experience is relatively scarce.This paper discusses the effectiveness of overseas mergers and acquisitions of Chinese securities companies,and aims to provide experience and suggestions for companies from the perspective of maximizing the acquisition efficiency.In the paper,the issue of overseas M & A benefits analyzed by combination of normative analysis and case analysis,two examples were selected: CITIC Securities acquired CLSA and Haitong Securities acquiredBESI.This paper makes a detailed case analysis and comparative analysis of the two cases from three aspects: short-term,medium-term and long-term overseas M & A.The results show that there is positive effect in the short term after M & A,and there is no positive effect in the medium term.Whether or not to get long-term positive benefits depends on the integration work after the merger and the operation of the company itselfmainly.Finally,from the choice of the timing of mergers and acquisitions,the choice of M & A market,the choice of M & A target,the integration of M & Afrommultiple angles,the paper provides experience and suggestions for the Chinese securities companies for overseas mergers and acquisitions.
