Since China put the Yangtze River economic zone building a national strategy,the rapid development of foreign trade,in the high degree of dependence on foreign trade in 2006 amounted to 72.98%.At the same time,the development of foreign trade can greatly improve the income level of urban and rural residents in the Yangtze River Economic zone.But there is still a gap in urban and rural income in 2006,urban and rural income ratio reached 3.42.In recent years,the urban-rural income ratio decreased,but the ratio has been maintained at more than 2.7 times.While the international urban and rural income ratio is the highest in 2 times.The purpose of this paper is to study whether the Yangtze River Economic Zone Foreign Trade and urban-rural household income gap are closely related,if there is,what are the mechanisms of the effect of foreign trade on urban-rural household income gap? How much impact? How to influence the direction of the Yangtze River economic belt? In order to improve the living standards of urban and rural residents,the overall regional coordinated development of urban and rural areas,which are needed in this paper to in-depth analysis of the problem.This paper will follow the logic of "Introduction,Literature review,Mechanism analysis,Empirical research,Policy recommendations".First of all,I review and summarize the related literature at home and abroad on the effect of foreign trade on urban-rural household income gap.Secondly,I describe the theoretical basis of the foreign trade and urban-rural household income gap.And I discuss the transmission mechanism of the impact of foreign trade on urban-rural household income gap from the macro and micro perspective.Thirdly,I summarize the current situation of Foreign Trade and the urban-rural household income gap in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.Then,I construct an econometric model based on the mechanism analysis and empirical research.on the current situation of.To clarify the influence mechanism of foreign trade on the urban-rural household income gap,I use the Yangtze River Economic Zone 2000-2015 panel data for the model empirical test.Finally,I combined with the result of mechanism analysis and empirical research,I puts forward relevant policy recommendations.
