The Investigation Of Logistics Integration In Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port

With the trend of globalization and regional integration becoming more apparent,ports has become an core strategic resources in leading regional economic development,and becoming the important increasing leverage in pushing forward the regional economic development.Guangxi Beibu Gulf is the main port to the ASEAN and the pivotl for the opening up in northwest China.It is of significant meaning to emphasize on the integration of the Beibu Gulf and look into the drawbacks of this issue,as well as to accelerate the integration and utilize the effect of integration.This paper is based on the related materials and studies of scholars both in and abroad,with the Fangcheng,Qingzhou and Beihai as the studying objectives,to illustrate the study background and value of this paper and propose the necessity of integration through the analysis of these ports.Then this paper is of instructive value to the integration of those ports,which draws its inspiration from the experience of foreign developed nations,eventually.It discusses the probability of integration of this process combined with the opportunities and disadvantages.Currently,there still exists some problems facing this issue,and it is deemed that it could be accomplished through the clear definition of the functions of each ports,construction of the logistic system of the ports,integration of the resources,the establishment of the information platform,improvement of the projects as well as the cultivation of the talents,all of which are designed to build Guangxi Beibu Gulf into the most important channel,cooperation platform,as well as the communication platform between China and ASEAN,all of which would bring this region into the strategic highland for developing the west and make this region the stragetic pivotal for developing southwest and northeast China,eventually this would make this region into the cooperative and international region to connect the silk road with the ASEAN nations.
