Research On Strategic Development Of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port Logistics

In the economic globalization environment, the development of modern international logistics has become an important means of economic development and management. Port logistics plays an important role in logistics development process. Beibu Gulf is carrying the responsibility of building the Great Southwest International Shipping Center, an important logistics center and the financial center.In this paper, I’ve uesd a large number of practical examples and real data to summarize the development of Beibu Gulf port logistics in recent years, combining the objective and orientation of Beibu Gulf port logistics development, and on this basis, to explore the future development trend. I’ve found out the shortcomings of the Beibu Gulf port logistics development such as poor technical level of production technology and management, the weak demand of market and other outstanding problems. After analyzing the causes of the shortcomings, I summarized the experience of the typical port logistics development in the world, and put forward the development direction.I’ve put forward specific recommendations in the end, including improving infrastructure, strengthening planning efforts, strengthen international cooperation, promoting the port industrial development, improving the level of information and strengthening port soft strength. With the recommendations I hope to enhance the connotation of Guangxi Beibu Gulf port logistics, to improve the Beibu Gulf port logistics function, to provide substantial suggestions for logistics enterprises and to promote the development of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone and economic of Guangxi.
