Food safety has been the focus of attention. With the development of Internet information technology, people begin to try to establish and improve the quality safety control system of agricultural product,techniques and methods for connecting the whole supply chain of agricultural products have been explored, which can help to improve the transparency of agricultural production, transportation and sales process and query the source information of agricultural product effectively.Therefore, the related problems in the agricultural product circulation process have been solved.This paper summarizes the intelligent agricultural product system development background and significance and discusses the agricultural products safety problem and other problems about site selection of warehouse and transportation management. Also, this paper analyzes related knowledge and technology about WebGIS, ArcGIS, SQLServer database, HTML5 and QR code etc. This paper mainly constructs the site selection model of warehouse, proposes an encoding method of agricultural products. Furthermore, this paper designs practical scheme of agricultural products logistics and distribution and establishes the agricultural products information database including production,transportation and market. Finally, the intelligent agricultural product system based on ArcGIS platform is developed using C# language and Visual Studio2012 integrated development environment. This system mainly realizes the agricultural product information dissemination,information query, map visualization, site selection of warehouse,logistics planning, safety tracing and other functions.This system developed is specializing in the production, storage,transportation, sales management of agricultural products, which can serve different types of users. This system realizes the function of selecting warehouse site, which can provide scientific reference for site selection of warehouse; it offers agricultural products circulation information, which can make the production and circulation information of agricultural products be shared in time. Also, this system realizes the information visualization of agricultural product based on map, which can express the spatial features of the agricultural product information more intuitively. This study can improve the circulation efficiency of agricultural resources to some extent, which is beneficial to the efficient allocation of resources; it overcomes agricultural products circulation information obstacles, which can prevent agricultural products shortage or poor sales problems. Furthermore, this system has the ability to improve the transparency of agricultural products circulation process so it can provide a feasible solution to solve agricultural product safety problem.
