Research On The Influences Of Chinese Manufacturing Industry On Enterprise Innovation Performance

Enterprise is the main subject of technological innovation while innovation is the motivation of development, so it is of significance for enterprises to study the relationship between technological innovation and innovation performance to expand their markets, and to improve their technological levels and values. This thesis divides technological innovation,from the angle of behavior, into open innovation, exploratory innovation, and exploitative innovation, does empirical researches respectively on their relationships with innovation performance.After positive analysis, the result shows that: the characteristics of both executives and products, the environment of competition, and the level of informatization influence on open innovation notably; open innovation itself and the degree of its application have dramatical positive effects on innovation performance; exploratory innovation has great positive influences on innovation performance. Exploratory actions such as developing new products can improve innovation performance in a relatively short term, and even without developing, only improving original products can help promote performance as well.What can be concluded through analyzing the data is, technological innovation is unignorably influential to the innovation performance of Chinese manufacturing industry. For further improvement, it is advised that the industry should devote more on researching and developing both financially and resourcefully; the government should improve the system of related policies to create a more politically friendly environment; enterprises should import update technologies and promote joint research and development with the society; they also should make full use of resources in hand and innovate on developing new products, perfecting crafts and management procedures.
